A Place for Reinvigoration
I have to confess that I love my N and Q train: it is frequent and quick. Although I don't enjoy stopping at Queensborough Plaza, I cant help it but click a few pictures of the area.
After the renovation, the surrounding area looks just great, at least after winter time!
I adventure myself taking the 7 train sometimes.
And Look what a great view of the Empire State they get it!!!

After a long day seating at work and a subway ride, my body requests moviment. I researched for a few gyms in Astoria and came accross CLUB FITNESS.
What a gem! I really enjoy the wide array of fitness classes. The most fun is upcoming: Spinning Summer Classes on the roofdeck!
There are four floors of pristine clean rooms. The basement is set for boxing and crossfit. The first floor has elliptical machines and a spa, with tanning and all. The second floor has a a cafe, spinning and aerobics rooms, bathrooms, saunas and a jacuzzi. A third floor has a huge high ceilings free weights area, with large tvs and elliptical machines as well.
The machines are never broken, towns are provided, and you can bring a guest too!
The building used to be a Greek nightclub. And of course, the gym owner is Greek. ;)
The club is open til late, 11 and 12. The club is a great offer for the membership price!!!
